This is the closing report in a series of five studies that examined developments in the use of knowledge in Singapore organizations during 2002.

In this final report we provide an overview of the activities of Singapore organizations in building knowledge-based strategies during 2002. In contrast to the four earlier reports, which looked at manager’s perceptions, this study looks at organizational activities, and provides a commentary on market sentiment at the end of 2002 from the perspective of product and service providers.

We then integrate the findings of our four previous surveys, Innovation in Singapore Organizations, E-learning Effectiveness from the Learner’s Point of View, Knowledge Management in Singapore Organizations, Knowledge-based Leadership in Singapore Organizations, into a series of discussions, designed to draw out and develop critical insights and future directions from the findings of the original surveys.

We hope this series of reports will provide a basis for discussion, reflection and action.
